There is no greater happiness for an Eyes of Compassion [EC] member than when they can witness the impact of their work on the lives of others. At Eyes of Compassion, we are continually reminded of the strength borne out of understanding, love and compassion to help and contribute and to continue making a difference in the lives of less fortunate and marginalized people in Nepal. Whether you wish to make an impact on the disadvantaged, the orphans or the sick and destitute we have lots of programs you could be involved with. Eyes of Compassion encourages people in North America to actively participate and help bring about practices that benefit the needy in Nepal.

In Canada we visit seniors during Christmas. We conduct literacy classes within the Nepalese community.

Eyes of Compassion is a INGO. It is without any political and governmental affiliation. It was conceived in 2006 to help the orphans and underprivileged in Nepal. At Eyes of Compassion [EC] people can come from all walks of life, backgrounds, age groups, religions, abilities, and cultures.

By recognizing that practices of generosity, compassion and loving kindness can change lives of deprived, marginalized and mentally and physically sick people and by helping them transcend their hardships Eyes of Compassion (EC) will continue to spread its message - "All joy, happiness and peace are the consequences of cherishing the well being of other sentient beings".Dalai Lama

Eyes of Compassion is a North America based charity (will be registered in 2009 summer) committed in helping the deprived, marginalized, sick children and adults in Nepal transcend their hardships and realize full potential in their societies. It aims to achieve its mission by bringing positive energy and resources together and directing them in areas of health and education.

We demonstrate this by:
- acknowledging the fact that understanding is the ground of love and sharing
- advocating the fact generosity helps in creating compassionate communities
- fostering community participation
- creating partnerships with similar organizations in North America and program country, Nepal
- working in educational projects
- helping the sick especially with renal failure diseases, in kind and financially
- disseminating vital information and increasing awareness especially about renal failure diseases

In doing all these, we are committed to values like understanding, tolerance, sensitivity, compassion and honesty.
